As we all know shopping will be different in shops for the foreseeable future. We have put measures in place that we need to and also gone further to try to keep us all as safe as we can be.

HAND SANITISER -Upon entrance, you will see to your left a stand with hand sanitisers. On the top shelf you will see a selection of hand sanitisers. These are free to use. Please do use one or let us see you using your own if you have your own you prefer to use. We are not liable for any allergies or reactions etc. for anyone who uses ours. You are welcome to use this on entrance, during and on exit and if passing by. ALL persons who come into our store, without exception, are required to use hand sanitiser. For those that are (or believe that they are), medically exempt or feel they cannot use it due to allergies etc, our policy will still apply. If you feel that you are therefore unable to sanitise then you WILL NOT be allowed entry to our shop. If there is anything that you feel that you would like then we will serve you at the door to our shop, but entry is not allowed. Alternatively you can visit our online shop. FACE MASKS - As of Friday 24th July 2020 it became mandatory for all people who come to our store to wear a face mask/covering upon entry. We have not taken this decision lightly. We have made this decision based on the fact that we wish to ensure that all our customers as well as our staff need to be kept as safe as is possible. We are well aware that the Government guidelines in relation to the mandatory wearing of face coverings is open to a huge amount of abuse. We have already seen this first hand. Therefore with this in mind we have decided that ALL persons who come into our store, without exception, are required to wear a face mask/covering. For those that are (or believe that they are), medically exempt, our policy will still apply. If you feel that you are therefore unable to wear a face covering then you WILL NOT be allowed entry to our shop. If there is anything that you feel that you would like then we will serve you at the door to our shop, but entry is not allowed. Alternatively you can visit our online shop. SOCIAL DISTANCING - At the entrance on the floor you will see a notice that says to keep left. Please keep to the left throughout your visit to the shop, only going backwards if there is no-one else behind you. While you are in the shop, please observe a two metre distance. There are floor markings to show you this distance. When we are not behind the counter, we too will be observing social distancing and so please do not be offended if we move away from you. You are still as welcome as before. It goes without saying that we are unable to shake anyone’s hand. Instead we will greet you (and you can us) with our right hand placed on our left breast, this is a greeting that is common place in some religions and cultures, It is a standard greeting of Hello, equivalent to shaking hands. 

The Government ruling of the 1 metre plus social distance rule does not mean that the ruling of 2 metres is now redundant. It means that the 2 metre rule still applies but in the event that you cannot adhere to it (although you should do all you can to still adhere to it), then you can go to a 1 metre distance but with mitigation in place (this is the plus bit). The mitigation means the use of face masks, visors, or screens etc.

PURCHASING - Please bring your item(s) to either of our two counters. You will see a cut out area in the till perspex screens. Place your items through this cut out area. This will allow us to see your items and total the due amount. Our till area surfaces are regularly cleaned. We will not need to touch your items unless it needs packing, which we will do for you using hand sanitiser ourselves. You are welcome to use your own bags.

PAYMENTS - Cash is still accepted. We simply use hand sanitiser prior to and after handling cash. Card payments are also accepted and the card machine is regularly cleaned. Our card machine is also “contactless”. Contactless card payments are now accepted up to £45.00.

OTHER POLICIES - Our No food, No drink, No Vaping and No Haggling policies still apply.
